Hanging out at the Renaissance fair again

Entering the fair.  We didn't get their early enough this time to see the skit before the gates opened.  This was my son's first time.  It was a perfect day to go.  The weather was great and it wasn't that packed.

This is the entrance.  It wasn't that packed this day so going in was a breeze.

Here are the boys.  Eli on the left and Ray to the right.  Both excited to go in.

Queen's Landing.  Used for more skits.  You can also take a boat ride that we haven't done yet.

This was cool.  This is one of the rides at the fair.  The cool part is there are no electronics.  That's how every ride was.  The worker had to either push, pull or twist the ride to make it work.

Roselawn Tournament Field.  This is where they held the Jousting tournaments.  This was the main event of the fair.  They only had a show twice a day. The bigger show was at 5:50pm and after the show the park closed. That's why it was always packed.

My honey Jen! We all were rushing to get to the 11am knife throwing show.

The two knuckle heads.  This was the Sherwood Forest Stage as you can see.  This is where they held the knife throwing show.

More to come...
