In a Yankees Suite Vs Seattle

This was a great game.  Yankees blew out Seattle 10 - 0.  I'm going to be loading pictures soon but I wanted to start with this video.

Robinson Cano's Grand Slam

This really was just coincidence.  I was taking pictures all game but decided to start a video when basses were loaded.  Well... I got lucky and so did the Yankees.

Cano hit a Grand Slam on the bottom of the 5th to give the Yankees a 5 - 0 lead.

Please excuse the shaking... I got really excited and couldn't keep it still.  Have fun!

Hanging out at the Yankee game this past Sunday.  It did rain so there was an hour rain delay.  It was so worth it.  We got lucky again to get box tickets.  The food and drinks were great.

My baby and I at the game. She has been such a hard core Yankee fan lately.  I LOVE IT!!!

The cool part of the suites is the hallway that leads to all the suites.  The walls are covered with old and new pictures, large Sports Illustrated covers and plaques.  This one of the cover of the Daily News when  Jeter hits past Gehrig.

Having too much fun at the game.  There was plenty more of these empty.

Jen's favorite player... Nick Swisher

A shot from the suite.  Good angle.

Yankees win 10 - 0.  What a game!

Xi Chapter BBQ

This was such a monumental day with Xi.  I am so glad I was there to enjoy and gather with all my brothers. Thank you Tito, my LB for for putting this together and sharing your home with us.  We should do this every year.

I hope you guys enjoy this slide show.  Send me pictures so I can add to it.

Hanging out with my boys!

There is nothing better than spending valuable time with  your kids.  We all work hard, some longer hours then others... but nothing is better then seeing that smile on your child's face while you are having fun with them.
Below are a few pictures of the great times we had together.  You judge for yourself... it just looks like so much fun right!

Virginia Beach: dinner time

Giants game last year.  Can't wait to do this again this year.

Jen and Ray tailgating

See Uncle Eric... I did do it myself

Eli at batting cages.  He has a nice swing, just needs to connect a bit more.
Practice... Practice

Salisbury Mill-Cornwall Train bridge

This was a great ride. We took the train from up here all the way to they NYC.  First time he's been on a train like this.  No Subways up here, LOL

Finishing up batting practice.  Next time he'll have a Yankee jersey on.

Hanging at the Yankee game in the box.  The kids loved it... so did I.

I love my boys...  They are growing too fast.

We were hanging out in the city so we had to get this shot.

At the Yankee Game

What's up everyone! I have been lucky enough this year to be able to go to a few Yankee games.  That is a big perk with my job.  Not only do I get great seats, but I've been able to hang out in one of the boxes.

The suites are THE best ways to watch a game.  Not only is there a great view of the game but there is food, drinks and TV's all around.  The AC is pumping if you wanted to stay inside.  If not, you can sit in the seats outside.

Here are some pictures from two games I went to in the box.

Looking into the suite from the entrance.

A Jeter picture in the suite

This was an hot picture.  It was metal and shiny.  It looked almost 3D

Looking into the box from the outside seats

As you can see in the far left.  There is a middle island that is filled with food and drinks.  Then to the left of that is a hot station.  Chicken fingers, mozzarella sticks, popcorn shrimp, hamburgers and hot dogs.

They had liquor and beer.  Pretty much unlimited.

Kids hanging in sitting area

My son Elijah on the left and my step son Ray on the right.  They really sat there just to eat the cookies.  They were really good.

This is probably a better look of the box.

This was a once in a lifetime moment. A Yankee executive came into the box and had the World Series ring on.  He was generous enough to allow me to try it on.  Boy was it big... it was covered in diamonds.

HOT!!

Renaissance Fair

So what did you do this weekend?  I had a blast!  If you haven't already, you must visit the Renaissance Fair in Tuxedo Park, NY.  It's great for both family and friends.  There is so much to do that it should probably be planned out.

Before you enter the fair, you are greeted with short skit of what to expect.  It if very humorous and enjoyable.  When the gates open they hand you a map that has the map on one side and the event times on the other.  This is when you should try and plan your day out.

There is a $2 handout you can buy that gives you more detail and is easier to work with.  It is in color so it is really worth the $2.

Now once you are inside, food and drinks are not cheap.  They are pretty much the same as you would pay at lets say Six Flags.  My favorite is the giant turkey leg.  There is such a long line for it so you better get it early.

Here are some pics of me and the fam at the fair.

Me and my baby Jen

Jen and I just have a great time.  She got her face painted for the first time.  She loved it.  The price was not that bad.  It cost $12 and took about 15 minutes to do.

Mom, Jen and Sharon

My mother, Jen and Sharon all got painting done.  It was addicting.  I thought about doing a henna tattoo but decided to pass.  They all came out really nice.

Turkey Leg... Yummmm!!!

This is the turkey leg I was talking about.  They had bbq sauce... priceless!

In your face!

This was awesome...  Trying to hit the clown with tomatoes.  It got him twice.  Boy he could talk some good sh*t.
